Aarav Doshi is a student at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. Fuelled by a passion for scientific research, Aarav is committed to wielding STEM principles for the purposes of socioeconomic equity. He is specifically interested in environmental engineering and mathematics.
His most recent research project involves managing rainwater runoffs, specifically addressing the issue of tyre-wear pollutants, particularly 6PPD-quinone, which is a hazardous chemical, by way of novel and low-cost solutions. He was also the Project Lead on a Cyber-Security Project for Teenagers in Mumbai, wherein his work on collating best practices to augment cybersecurity education for adolescents was recognized by the CM of Maharashtra.
Aarav advocates for water accessibility and believes in scientific innovation for change. He thus began The Blue Project to bring learnings from his research work to transform water accessibility for underserved communities in his home city, Mumbai.
